(still nonbinary) after all these years
an anthology zine by nonbinary people over 30
submissions open until 12/31/2026
I’m putting together an anthology zine of writing and art by nonbinary people over 30, because we’re not all teenagers. I’m looking for writing and 2D art that reflects your thoughts and feelings on being a nonbinary adult, aging in a world that has very gendered ideas of what adulthood should look like.
What’ll I do with submissions?
I’ll compile them into a zine to sell at fests and online. Participants will receive a physical copy and a print-friendly digital copy so they can print and distribute it themselves.
Some prompts for submissions
*aging “with dignity,” the idea of nonbinariness as frivolous, aging out of “coolness” and trends, genderlessness being seen as tied to youthfulness in various ways, being old and genderless
